Same reason no one of note responded to the kendrick: the fans.

Last rapper who ain't give a fucc about being PC was 50 cent and look how that endeared him to yall:mjpls:

A rapper who speaks his mind will get x10 as much hate as one who's politically correct, will burn bridges & isolate himself, so there's no point.

Cuz Despite how much you stans loooove to relate to them. These nikkas aint STARS in the slightest form. They jus some regular nikkas who rap. No Swag. No Flair. No Wit. No Humor. No appeal. Got damn, the game need some Harlem nikkas right bout now :wow:

Not sure if related but I just listened to Redman's mixtape even tho some of it sounds a bit :flabbynsick: he still has that wit/humor/mic presence that made me listen to the whole damn tape. Which cannot be said for most of these new rappers, even those I like.

Cuz we have fewer dudes with personality and personas as opposed to these everyday people ass nikkas

You also got all these cats on social media either showing their bytchassness or tweeting away any interesting soundbite they could've had in a interview. "celebs" interact too much in and with the general public and dont do much to hold back to make an interview with them interesting.

Edit: and yes, the war on being politically incorrect has ruined every celeb/media personality's ability to do them

cus these days its cool to be grounded and intelligent

ill tell u what if i get exposure my interviews will be stupid as shyt

Yeah, that is the SLIGHT problem with today and being PC 200%. I rather have some Redman humor than some random swag rapper talking about his concerts.

same, i dont understand how you could answer all those questions honestly, dudes ask the most complex questions like how do you view yourself as an artist, how do you explain you as an artist on the spot without fukkin around, thats like an essay question lol

You can't fully blame the rappers when the people doing the interviews keep asking the same ol bullshyt over and over.

When the newer rappers end up with a guy like Nardwuar you usually get a good interview. I've seen a Currensy interview that was boring as fukk then I watch the ones he did with Nardwuar and they are real dope.

most of the time the artists on there are serious its just charlemange aangela an the milk chocolate dude making it entertaining
na i think the interviewees relax in they interviews, j cole, wale and they joke, but they not scared to asked the real questions, and they even ask about shyt from years ago, not just current event shyt, rappers these days are probably doing more interviews then ever, probably get tired of that shyt

everyone that is answering is wrong!

the dudes that say they afraid to step on anyones toes is also wrong!

The answer to the question is....
Look at Lupe Fiasco, he makes music with opinions and views, he lost fans because of that.
Same reason why companies don't say hey im a democrat, they don't want to lose right wingers, same with repubs, same thing vice versa.

In both music and interviews to keep a large a amount of your fans you have to not express any views
Because in today's day and age majority of people will have hatred towards you as truth is so very controversial, ironically.

It's better to say "oh as an artist bla bla bla bla bla" and just act stupid
See acting stupid and speaking on stupid topics will, again ironically, make you sound very smart, because nobody will disagree with you.

those were the most cringeworthy interviews...just nikkas with a camera....a rapper smoking and/or on the corner looking bored and annoyed...i used to feel bad for the interviewer

"so yo...like........what's up.......with you and so and so"

"blah blah blah it ain't real beef i aint got no animosity towards son"

"that's what's up that's what's up...so yo....is there.....like....animosity between you two or could yall peace it out on the phone?"

":upsetfavre:"

"yo so..that's what's up that's what's up....so....umm....tell us what features you got on your album again?"
