They pretty much don't have an army, technically they have one but it's not functional to the point of really getting into any wars
i'm assuming that was part of what ever agreement they made with the U.S
it was in the pacific and not effecting cacs so it's not really focused on in our history classes but Japan was on some lowkey nazi shyt over there during WWII, raping and killing whole communities and just wilding
that's not to rationalize what the U.S did far as the nukes but more so to highlight the negotiating position Japan was in after they lost. They were basically in the same position as Germany having to make concessions because of all the horrible shyt they were doing

from what I remember while talking to some Japanese citizens while over there, they really hate China. If they ever decide to say fukk the WW2 treaties and agreements, China would be the ones who they go after.

The law is based on precedent. You know how many wars throughout history were based on somebody trying to get their getback? World War 2 was largely because Germany was still pissed about the first one.

Yeah, I think those expansionist dreams are over for them Can't just run up on China and Korea like the old days when they were lackin' and then you got the big dogs like Russia and the US with their interests and then a gang of other countries with nukes on the board. It would take some crazy amount of luck and finesse for Japan to reclaim their former glory.

It ain't nothing to turn tiny low influence countries into a Mad Max wasteland these days.
