We can just deny it and blame somebody else. Yeah, Russia will be pissed off but who fukkin cares?
If you don't think there is a constant working plan to assassinate any world leader then you are sleeping...

If the USA or Israel could body dude and get away with it, they would...It is NOT EASY...

Too many moving pieces, too many things have to align, too many counter spies working...

If the USA just says fcuk it, let's do it...It can...But no Western Government wants the diplomatic blow back that comes with such blatant disrespect of another country, and the possibility of WW3 will become even more real...

Plus Syria (was a UN recognized government) they have resources to orchestrate well organized terrorist attacks on US soil...China and Russia will surely low key assist them...

It is NOT a good plan...Little reward, for a potential world war and perpetual terrorism...

The Assad regime is fighting to keep him in power. If Assad is dead what is there to fight for? Also a power vacuum opens that will lead to internal dissent. It's not like Al Qaeda where there's a next in line. Assad has no immediate successor. Also, you cut the head off the snake to stop it. Killing the leader also lowers morale and causes confusion

Clearly no knowledge of Syria's political or social construct.

1. Why wouldn't a president try to keep his power going to keep the country afloat?
2. Internal dissent from what? Assad is dead, the country would be in total chaos.
3. When did Assad become the bad guy and ISIS and Al-Qeada become this medium of good guys and neutral players.

You really think a government leader doesn't have a designated successor :dahell: ?

It's amazing to me that Americans still believe, even with all this evidence to the contrary, that we should be anywhere in the world trying to affect regime changes. Let those fukkers kill each other and eventually when the poverty and instability associated with constant war with no foreign states with ulterior motives becomes too much, they'll start signing treaties and brokering peace accords.
