A woman proposing is not unheard of. Its not the norm, but it does happen...
My girl proposed to me...![]()
what happened?
what she tell you?
you must be on yo job

She proposed the morning of my sisters wedding...![]()
They need to propose. There's the ones that really wanna get married.

Now that you mention it...are there very many benefits in this country for men getting married? Honest question.
I, personally, don't pine away dreaming of a wedding day. My ex used to draw wedding dresses and all of my friends (male & female) thought it was kind of creepy. I did as well, but then I figured...SOME chicks genuinely fantasize about that....like the ceiling for success in their lives depend on having a wedding.
The only big event in life that I worry about not experiencing is having a kid or being a father in general.
...and it's not like it'd be hard to initiate that. There'll probably always be chicks around willing to have kids with a half-decent educated guy that takes care of himself. At least, that's what I assume. Could be wrong.![]()

Do friends really want to change traditions to be like women?
This
This sounds like us, men, complainin' about havin' to do something
I'll do the proposing, but; the tradition I'm bumpin' is the Anglo-Saxon tradition of weddings.
Let's go to the magistrate, then, throw a party later.
How do they do it in your homeland?
My homeland is here, friend.
