Capitalism addresses the reality that we have We have unlimited desires but limited resources. It answers 3 questions.. 1) What should be produced? , 2) How should it be produced? , 3) Who should it be produced for?

The video does give a DISCLAIMER that Capitalism is not perfect. But it is the most common sense efficient way to allocate capital, incentivize labor workers, incentivize business owners, and incentivize land owners. Also a great way for Governments to quantify the output of production

So to all of you Socialists and "Late Stage Capitalism" groupies, sorry this system will never end. Better start learning more on how this economic system works instead of living in a fantasy
Even Red China with Mao Zedong was forced to lean back and eventually accept Capitalism :manny:

If history has taught us anything, it's that systems always change.

And if you're willing to address the realities of capitalism, you'll be forced to admit we don't even function in a capitalist system. It's an oligarchy with socialism for the rich.

Since you want to go down this route. The correct definition of what you are describing is Corporatism. This type of economic system is only practiced by a minority, which uses the Government and Lobbyists to create monopolies. While the VAST majority of the Capitalist society are the complete opposite of that... In that 99% of all businesses are small businesses, with 98% having fewer than 100 employees

But when that point is brought up, ya'll Socialists and Late Stage Capitalist groupies always ignore that fact and deflect back to the 1% that practice Corporatism because it's an easy target

Why should I care that 99% of businesses are categorized as "small businesses" when 99% of businesses don't comprise 99% of economic or political power?

Small Business Statistics Of 2024

"Although a majority of small businesses, over 80%, operate without any staff, these entities still employ a total of 61.6 million people. This figure represents 45.9% of the entire U.S. workforce[1], a remarkable statistic especially when considering that fewer than 20% of small businesses have any employees."

"Despite the average small business being operated by a solo founder, these enterprises have been a significant source of job creation in the U.S. In the past 25 years, small businesses have been responsible for generating nearly 13 million net new jobs[1]. This accounts for approximately two-thirds of all new jobs added to the economy during this period"

“an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit.”

By its own definition it runs in direct opposition of it people, as the political system is responsible for profit.

I’m not a capitalism hater but the system is flawed and needs a revamped. The whole system is fukked creating a permanent underclass. I’m doing wealth planning right now and getting to enjoy my life at 67 is depressing as shyt. Especially when life expectancy for black males is 75.
