Meek shytted on Cassidy and said that he could kill him in a battle and the he put a # that he thought Cassidy wouldn't accept (100k).
Cassidy accepted and Meek started talking about how he was too big to fukk with them, too much money to get and on.
That's why I respect Drake for this, I don't really care for hiphop beef. I like battle songs but not the beef that surrounds it, it's just negative energy.
Twitter, threats of violence and shyt like that is wack as fukk. So I respect Drake for keeping it 110% hiphop. What everyone else is saying is just heckling Meek to step up and get in the ring that he proposed.

Meek can be a sucka I'm not a Meek fan. I'm asking why people are acting like Drake's diss was so damaging he can't respond. That's why I said if Meek doesn't respond there's something else going on behind the scenes, not because he tapped out.
Watch his battles. They aren't that good, he chokes alot, he's not that clever, etc.

Meek doesn't seem to be a very calculating individual. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, I don't think it's a good match. We've seen him speak hastily off of emotion before, just a bad look.
Meek ain't touching the Drake as a writer, Drake's old material will show you that. You think "Comeback Season" & "So Far Gone" had ghostwriters? lol be serious with yourself. Drake can just tap into his original influences (Budden, Kanye, Phonte) and put together a much better diss verse than Meek.
Battling aint the same as writing a diss record. Battle rappers be writing vague ass disses that could apply to anyone

That's silly. Drake is a pop star who is fully immersed in the industry now, what he does with reference tracks is sacrilegious by mc'ing standards, but par for the course for pop stars.

There are no reference tracks for mixtape songs, there's just no logic in that. And I say this as someone who does NOT bump Drake.

I just checked, on the 1st page there was only one face-to-face battle vs some unknown nikka. As I said, he wasn't known as a battle rapper. Maybe its because I'm from Philly, so my perspective is different.
