Very true. I have a friend who I've friendzoned who has been into me for a few years now. And the only reason I haven't smashed is cuz she got a bf of like 8 years or some masochistic shyt like that. I'm not ashamed to say that I've been in the friendzone a couple of times.
It was self-imposed.
I saw it happening right before my very eyes and could not bring myself to stop it.
True story.
I was friends with this chick.
And I was chillin' in her dorm room.
She was blabbing about how her man was dogging her out.
Bla bla bla......here's how I ended that friendzone bullshyt.
Me: "Do you know who wouldn't treat you like garbage? Do you know who would worship the ground you walk on?"
Her: "You, right?"
She literally made that face when she responded.
And I paused because that brief look on her face gave me my moment of clarity.
I hated myself so much for even being in her presence.
Me: "Hey, do you need anything from the store?"
Her: "No....I'm good. Are you alright?"
Me: "Yeah. I'm just gonna go grab some snacks. I'll be right back."
Her: "Okay."
That was the last major conversation I had with her.

I don't understand why more guys don't do the same, are you really trying to deal with EVERY woman who's willing to sleep with you?
1) they are not attracted to you and just sparingly enjoy your company (smarten up and drop her. at least she's not wasting your money)
2) if things ever go bad with their boyfriend your choice number one. (your playing the long game. might not even work out)
3) they use you for attention, she'll use you to go to the movies or dinner while single. (the worst situation for a guy)
4) maybe they would be receptive to you but they are definitely not gonna approach you about it. (100% your fault. man up)
