I'm talking about the righteous, submissive, loving, grateful woman. The type of woman who puts others first, and has the qualities you would want in a mother and wife. The type of woman who doesn't put out, dresses conservatively. has a motherly way with children and respects her man. The type of woman who has traits of loyalty, a great personality and knows the role a woman should play in the relationship

I wonder what some of you consider a "good woman".
I suspect many of you would describe a good woman using historical (and somewhat outdated) gender roles.
Also makes me wonder what exactly some of you men are bringing to the table of a relationship, because it seems what some of you demand out of women is a bit ridiculous.

I suppose. But the thread was made judging women first. So isn't the onus on the men to state what they consider a good woman? and then state the case for why it's so hard to find one?

I think it's a bit silly to say that the majority of men or women are one way or another. Realistically, how many women have men of the coli dated in their lives? Let's suppose you said 200. Is 200 enough to judge the millions of women in North America?

I think some people should get a grip. A lot of these complaints about women (and men, to be fair) have an eerie feeling like some major butthurt is behind these generalizations.

What I said was that strippers (and porn actresses) deserve the same respect and job opportunities as anyone else. And that I would feel that way even if I had a daughter who did that.

You don't have to state what makes a good woman. That's your personal belief and I respect it.

I just think it's a bit unfair for some men to say "most women are no good" without defining what "good" is. And that seems to happen often here by a few posters.

If people are going to make blanket statements, they should have to defend it with a "why". That way, even if people disagree, they can see the thought process behind it, and respect it.
