Closest comparison is 50 but his crew aint all verified and technically, he just not as good a rapper. Much better song maker.

it's always weird watching grown men fawning over rapper street credentials like are you smitten or a fan of the music?

this is one aspect of rap that has to mature. after all tekashi bought street cred with a buzz and got himself extorted but he still had rap fans buying into his fake aura. if the music is good then that's all that matters. and it is.

I don't feel like it's a reshash. I couldn't get into early Joey badass because he was too much of a throwback. these guys a reminiscent and inspired by the 90's but still different.
