Not true, Since most guitar players name him as their biggest influence.
Jimi's influence even reach the Congo! There's this guy called Bongo Wende Daclyto (RIP) who stated his biggest influence is Jimi. See for yourself

I play guitar too... but honestly, although they are close, I would still put Prince one half notch above Jimi.

So y'all only post based on thread titles huh :mjlol:
exactly. take this site lightly because from time to time, it shows you what type of people also post here.

he said guitar players, with no link no quotes nothing. because its not true, its the opposite, they marvel at his talent and created a damn pedal to try to mimic a sound no one could figure out how he did it. :dead:

I play guitar, Jimi was left handed and strung his guitar strings in the opposite order. He was unconventional
Bobby Womack and Babyface do the same thing.
Because he couldn’t read music but was a once in a lifetime talent?

This isn't uncommon. I'd say many artists can't read music, especially if you're self taught

I STRONGLY HATE THESE VIDEOS FROM THESE NOBODIES WITH THE CLICK BAIT SHOCK TITLES.

Dudes be having o credentials making videos like "Here is why your finger picking SUCKS"

"HOW TO FIX YOUR TERRIBLE BASS MIX"

The white guitarists found it easier to digest Eric Clapton blues. The white take on blues..

Guys like Jimi had the basic blues nailed down but experimented far more. He had the embellishments from the r&b style that the white guitarists couldn't nail down.

Jimi was also more raw..he didn't care about missing notes.

Also Jimi had swagger on the guitar and great stage presence. Alot of the British guys have no swagger and no confidence to try half the shyt jimi did.

I don't like clickbait titles but still a good video.

Could've talked about Hendrix's tone too. I get a little sad thinking about talented he is lol.

Yea ji
Didnt Hendrix upstage Eric Clapton and eric clapton got mad and walked off stage?
Jimi opened up with Killing floor and Clapton was blown away

That's Not the actual show with Clapton but that is how Jimi played the song...later on in his career he'd start off and slow jam the song at slower bpm.

You see Clapton was known as GOD of England and known for speed playing..so hearing Jimi rip that classic blues song like that scared him.

YoU peep how he is playing the main riff then adds in those fills here and there?? He was best at that...
