Because no matter the subject matter Wayne is really just a punchline rapper :yeshrug:

he’s the best punchline rapper of all time, but most of his bars are set up to puns/analogies of some sort. That shyt gets tiresome :francis:
Never the dude who said “I beat that p*ssy up like Emitt Till:scust:

and a whole lot of other corny punchlines

there are like 100 other better punchline rappers

He didn't pick great production after Carter 1 IMO, that aged a lot of his music. And his emphasis on "hot lines" over actual songwriting. But I won't hate, that shyt was popular as hell when it was

Funny I was just bumping this

The thing about Wayne was that he was very experimental so alot of his shyt was hit or miss.

Sometimes the songs didnt hit. But what it did was put the thought out there. Which other rappers picked up and made careers off of.

IE: Future, Thug, Uzi, Trippie Redd, Juice Wrld, Chief Keef etc.

And thats just musicality, aesthetic and image wise there is no contest no point in even talking about that.
