Probably because he's been a successful rapper since like 13...outside of bytches, money and material shyt (and fake gangbanging) he has nothing to really rap about, he aint live a real life like that and experience nothing for real. His music is madd childish...I always looked at it as "kid music".

And the music is all some real "sign of the times" sounding type shyt...like a lot of Jay-z's too.

All music get old and sound old as time past, everything does retard. Cars, houses, fashion sense, tvs phone's.....etc

Great music is timeless though. Sure, some music sounds corny after a few years because it was too much of its time, but other music is so good that decades later it still hits the same.

It's music of its time, give it another 20 years and it'll feel special. :unimpressed:

At least its not the modern music of addicts, do drugs, rob you own family and fuk a "fat ass" :hhh:
What :mjlol:

Wayne is an entire addict, raps about and promotes drugs, and said he could make an album 100% about p*ssy and sell a million copies and did it for a decade straight.

I don’t know what you’re getting at :skip:

He was honestly at his best as a teenager....his flow/bars on Guerilla Warfare, Block is Hot and Carter 1 still hold up. He got too into punchlines as he got older. He kinda willed himself into being considered great....I never thought those so called classic mixtapes were that great...some good stuff but it was a weak era

I still fw some Carter 3 tho

As Wayne's mainstream popularity peaked he became a mainstream spitter. Giving you life of a rich young rapper with rich drugs, rich women, and many places to see at his disposal. The struggle or social awareness wasn't part of Wayne's peak package.

On the flip side I've been listening to Juvenile lately. He really has a top 5-10 argument ALL TIME. All of his underground to peak popularity music has aged like good barreled grapes. If 400 Degrees would of dropped this past Friday it would be the hottest shyt out. That's how well it has aged. Juvie and B.G. have catalogues that aged very well.

Wayne spitting rhymes during the Carter series were brutal. And 400 Degrees still a vintage album that will sill be played by everyone.

Carter 1 and Carter 2 are classics and aged amazing. Nothing sounds outdated on those. So your thread is invalid cause the premise itself isn't a fact but just a poor opinion rooted in hate.
bro there is some stuff on both of those albums that borderline not listenable

Wayne blew up off feature collaborations and redoing others songs. Although he has plenty of his own hits, he'd never been a hip hop God, off his commercial albums alone.
