I don't even know what this means, but it's hilarious to me for some reason :mjlol:
Just think about the Gamecube and WIIU

Nas makes great music for his hardcore fans just like Nintendo makes great games for hardcore Nintendo fans (zelda, mario, etc)

But that's where it stops, The stuff they make will never appeal anyone outside of the core.

his highest charting hit was "i can" :mjlol:

by FAR

and it was #12

nas stans making up excuses "he didn't want it"

oh so songs with Ginuwine and diddy don't exist :dwillhuh:
:melosass:

I take back my earlier daps. I really thought If I Ruled The World was a top 10 hit. This proves Nas wasn't as big as his boys claim

A Ginuwine feature wasn't necessarily a reach for mainstream success. That song was what it was. It didn't exactly scream crossover. It appealed to fans of both R&B and Hip Hop. "Hate Me Now" definitely wasn't going for crossover appeal. That song was more in the vain of "Victory" than it was "It's All About The Benjamin" and "Been Around The World".

The song was Grammy nominated, had a Hype Williams directed video all over, it was definitely a hit in '96. Street Dreams was bigger I think the single sold Gold.

Anyway, we're here arguing whether a rapper that has gone multi-Platinum several times "made it properly" in the mainstream. :mjlol:
