They mix everything together. Seamlessly like it’s natural. Tekken has the best mix of everything and that dude Soken who’s been composing for FF14 and FF16 killing it. And the dude who did Rurouni Kenshin and Tenchu. They mix classical with all forms contemporary music which makes it sound cool. Tekken is what got me into breakbeat

Look how sick they mixed this drop in with cinematic sounds. Epitome of the past meeting the present. In a polished stylish way.


Classical mixed in with eastern music towards the end it gets really cool

I love the Tenchu boss music. It sounds so freaky and cool.

Someone like Zaytoven has a strong music background, his understanding of chords and melodies are impeccable, and he has the jazz chops to improvise around those chords. And you can tell by his beats and how he constructs those beats.
