Undersized & doesn't have the handles/quickness or release (slow) to compensate for that, doesn't have a passing gift, offers nothing defensively, has to play exclusively off ball since he offers nothing as a ball handler but even there he isn't a great volume spot up shooter nor does he offer the ability to shoot quickly on the move off pin downs like Redikk/Korver.

seth has never had anything close to the per 36 stats of Jimmer though. I hate to use that shyt but iunno...i feel like Sactown was fukkin around kinda like they are with Ben Mcle right now and how Minnesota isnt really using Shabazz

Seth was in a bad situation. Coach Karl had several comments about Seth like "he needs to improve his defense" (later Karl praised Seth's defense saying it stacked well compared to the rest of the team), that Seth won't stick around the league long (which Boogie Cousins refuted saying Seth will stick in the NBA), and that Seth needs to improve his passing game (lately Seth has rattled off a few games with good assist totals for a guy people tried saying couldn't pass at all). It is extremely hard to get a shot in the NBA. When you see Seth's recent production, it makes the case he should have gotten consistent playing time earlier in the season and been used more. With Jimmer, he is going to have to get an opening on a bad team that has an injury or something, then have a couple of double-digit scoring games off the bench. Many coaches in the league are very hesitant to change their rotations. I think whether it is playing pro-ball in Europe or coming off the bench as a shooting specialist in the league, Jimmer will eventually be a pro somewhere full-time and graduate from the D-League for life.

Maybe he's just not found the right fit yet or maybe his game just doesn't translate to the NBA. I think it's the latter but maybe he will prove me wrong.

this one vid disproves everything you said

though that Popovich note is disturbing I feel a team like the Warriors could give him what he needs replacing Barbosa (whose contract is done this year)

Could you imagine him in a lineup off the bench with Livingston, Igoudala, Speights and Ezeli :dead:
Curry would only have to play 28 mins a game. I'm convinced its such Sactown fukkin up as always.

If he showed that type of ability on a remotely consistent basis, he'd be on a NBA roster right now. In the season that followed the clip you posted he went on to sign with the New Orleans Pelicans who were starved of guard depth. Season debut he goes 0-6 including 0-3 from deep and doesn't improve much as the season went on struggling like mad with consistency despite being left wide open on the very large majority of his attempts.

You absolutely do not want to replace Barbosa with him. Would really miss his ability to get dribble penetration & finish at the rim, on top of being a reliable spot up shooter

Watched his play a lot for the pels. Dude couldn't hit shot wide open and seemed like he was scared out there. Defense was horrible

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
interesting. dude was equal to Stephen Curry coming into the league (arguably) skill wise. That intangible work ethic is something else

He was no where near as talented as Curry was, that Davidson team outside of Steph was horrible, while that BYU team had several dudes who were McDonald's All American nominee's in HS. Those dudes on that Davidson squad were basically high level D2 cats.

The handle is what separates them and the fact Steph doesn't suck on defense too.

He's s SG trapped in pg's body

Be the size of a pg with no handles and terrible defense, if he was a couple inches taller he could be reddikk

This is the best explanation right here.

And :mjlol: at Jimmer of all people having a bad attitude and not being easy to get along with. He's like the nicest, most respectful kid ever.
