White kids are playing other sports. Soccer, baseball, football...even hockey is gaining popularity again with (white) kids/parents. There will always be a lot of white dudes playing in college based off demographics alone, but clearly the best white athletes are not playing basketball. If you're an athletic freak as a white dude...you probably play football (JJ Watt) or baseball (Mike Trout).


The NBA is becoming more athletic than it's ever been, and bigger at nearly every position. Ironically there is a place for white dudes who have a certain skill set though. Guys like JJ Reddikk and Kyle Korver specifically. But how many great white college shooters translated to the NBA like that. At some point white dudes will figure this out and we'll see a revival of white players fitting that specific role IMO. And that's about MORE than just shooting 3s. You gotta be athlete and HARD WORKING enough to get open. You don't gotta be an athletic freak to do all that...but you have to be athletic and in great shape.

This aint no where near true lol. My sons AAU program was charging $1200 this Spring (we were on 'scholarship' lol). The program had 9 7th grade teams. The other 8 being non elite teams, those kids were playing full price. Mostly white kids. Thats about 80+ kids paying over $1k for a Spring AAU session. They aint steering their kids away from basketball in the least.

there were 64 white American players in 96, there are around 40 today. bu bu bu the league was full of cacs in 90s. I should neg you pleighboi.
