As a married brotha.....I just say do you. But I will say the older you are the harder it is to find someone to grow with because you and them are set in your ways.

There are pros and cons of being married and or single. You just have to think about what you willing to live with at 50 and 60 and 70 years old.

When you young.....you don't think about mortality, age, death and leaving a legacy. But when you get older you start to think about that shyt more and more.

Also one of the easiest ways of building money is marrying someone like minded and building with them. Because you pull your resources together, are on the same page and your kids are with the same person.

Problem with the internet is folks always focus on the negative and not the positive. So when folks talk about marriage it is always from the standpoint of divorce and not successful marriages.

I knew something was wrong with marriage when I seen my mother go hard on my older sister to get married and she told me to take my time and play the field for as long as I can

Your mother probably just knows that men and women are playing on two different shot clocks. Women are working with that .04 shot clock whether they know it or not.Where as men have a nice 24 seconds.You notice she didn't tell you not to get married,just that there is no need for you to pressure it. Like it or not,there is a valid reason women have for putting ultimatums on men to get married,or at least for the man to show some sort of viable commitment and have a long term plan laid out for them.

After a while women ask men where do the say the relationship going and men say "I don't know",or "Lets just take it one day at a time".

This is pathetic,and you are a time waster. You should have a short term plan after a few months,then after that you should have a long term plan for where yall are going,then after that another long term plan.

Black men have to step up our planning,you have your woman and kids out here living like nomads with no type of plan?Then wonder why these women are quick to leave and start over on her own or with somebody else. Why not?whats the difference? Is it really starting over when she didn't have a house?a savings?business?long term goals of any kind with you as a couple. This man actually said "I'm all for having families,but you don't have to get the courts involved in your business to have families". Does he not realize that the courts will be in your business when you end up having children out of wedlock and the relationship doesn't work out?yet he is advocating being sexually promiscuous among black people. This is horrible advice for successful blacks and poor blacks alike.

Marriage won't financially cripple a broke black man who has nothing, like CHILD SUPPORT and children out of wedlock does FAR MORE commonly in our community. Most nikkas don't have it like that where they should be afraid of marriage,but they could get it like that if they went into relationships with women with a business plan in mind like real alphas do. Not thinking of strategies to get your dikk wetted by different randoms whos past and mental states you know little about,and may not find out about until its too late. Supposedly succesful nikkas taking chances with women they meet on plenty of fish and tinder calling themselves alphas and mocking men for not thinking with their dikks,this shyt is tragic all around.
