Exactly.

And lets be real - nikkas died over this shyt before. Over a fukking streetball game.

Imagine the stakes are millions of dollars and your reputation among the 20 million people watching that shyt.

I can't even imagine the shyt that would happen. Its a green light for everything. Nikkas would be lookin to hand out career ending injuries.

Thats not why. It about teaching todays kids to be good sports, and all that other nonsense.

You cant stare, yell, talk trash, or do the mutumbo finger wag anymore basically bc kids are watching.

It can be both. Teach the kids good sportsmanship and keep shyt from escalating beyond the point of no return.

Same reason cacs shoot nikkas. Too threatening/they're too p*ssy to handle the embarrassment/confrontation

Cause cacs think it’s too aggressive
For real this is the answer. White folks take it as bad sportsmanship and get pissed off about. I thought that shyt was a stereotype until I started working around a bunch of white men and hearing them complaining about showboating, taunting, and talking shyt. So Stern started taking that type of stuff out of the game.

Kids weren't watching back in the day when they had way more games on broadcast TV airing on weekends in the daytime? :mjlol:

Kids back in the day also had toy commercials full of nikkas shooting machine guns and cartoons with crazy shootouts. It's a new age, and all companies are more safe and cautious, NBA included. Images of children in the Detroit crowd crying after nikkas went ham are horrible for business, so NBA went the extreme safe route to prevent anything like that from happening again

but the main reason all of that happened is because the FANS, whose fragile sensibilities they are trying to protect, were behaving like animals. throwing shyt on the floor, getting onto the floor trying to confront players, tearing up the arena :gucci:.

Alot of stuff was more violent for kids back in the 90's, 80s etc.

It can be both. Teach the kids good sportsmanship and keep shyt from escalating beyond the point of no return.

Man, c'mon. These nba cats now are all about money, broads, social media. They aren't doing anything to jeapordize that.

They're all friends nowadays. Nobody is really hurting anybody

Because the NBA doesn't hardly to show any emotion at all, I miss when a player could dunk on you then scream right in your face afterwards
:banderas:

They basically don't want you to show any emotion anymore, they want everyone to ball like Tim Duncan basically

A staredown between male animals usually equals conflict. So it's considered taunting.
