Why is America so behind on Solar Energy?

The answer is because we've allowed major corps to become to involved in politics to point that we now consider them entities in and of themselves.
This has caused the development of our infrastructure to freeze. Wealthy major powerful oil companies do not want us using solar energy, driving electric cars, taking highspeed monorails, because they supply fuel for the buses, planes and trucks that we drive instead. Politian's don't want to be the first to jump on sword and the defy the companies because the initial investment cost to turn things around this point would rival the cost of waging a war and only the successors would benefit from it long term. that combined with the bad press from the rivals would be career suicide. We literally have to have a company that is fully in support of alternative energy become very powerful first in order for change to occur sort of like what tesla did/is doing to the electric car industry.

Don't be obtuse bro, capitalists don't want solar energy because there is no justifiable reason to charge a lot of money and tax it because it is incredibly cheap(a lot of people go months with no electricity bills because of solar).
Old boy aint lying, I'm an electrician there are a lot of cities that won't let you put solar panels on your roof for no good reason other than if you go off the grid somebodies pockets will be lighter.
Most of these people who are behind this are white, it aint feelings or dapfishing it's just facts.

Bro I have literally installed Solar panels on peoples houses, what part about there are MANY cities and areas inside cities that WILL NOT let you put them on your house did you not understand? When I was at the company that installed solar there were always permits that would get shot down every single day because the city won't allow solar panels. How the fukk are you gonna tell me of all people I don't have facts when I have installed the damn things.
Is it getting better, yes, but up until recently a lot of cities municupalities, HOA's and cities themselves would flat out shoot it down. Maybe your state is different from mine, but up until recently many places were not just letting people slap solar panels on their roof. That isn't an opinion that is FACTS, like I said it is better now but Solar wasn't booming like that here in like 2014 and 2015 and shyt bro.
