Im from Illinois. Im a Cavs fan. I was pissed that Lebron left, but was like fukk it, we got enough to make the playoffs w/o him. Didnt work out, but I STILL ride for the squad.
I coulda easily became a Heat fan or rode with my home state team in the Bulls, but nah, I dont operate like that.

Hell, The Browns were moved in 1994 and The Cavs were talking about relocating the year before they drafted LeBron.

Bandwagon fans are just there to try to fit in and look cool in front of other people. They only rep teams when they are winning and otherwise have nothing to do with them.
I'm sure we've all seen people on social media networks parading the Lakers before, along with the Spurs, and the Bulls in their younger years, all in one lifetime. That's how they roll, wanting to be the in thing.
And that's a problem. They only like sports and teams as a platform to try and show others up and fit in, when the reality is they're trying to make up for the their own personal shortcomings.

You see I have no issues with new fans to the sport who suddenly decide now that they are heat fans but weren't really into ball before that.... that's cool, these superstars got you into the NBA and you follow an exciting team but if you run around screaming heat nation.. etc or "fukk *insert team here* then u best be riding with the heat when the struggle years come...
following a squad should be a lifetime thing, it makes it that much sweeter when ur team comes up from the struggle years and beats down on all the teams that have bandwagoners *still waiting for sixers to come up... it's been 10 years but fucc it* i can still enjoy the talent of other players and take sides on various match ups but i'm sixer nation till the day i die.

some of these people have tried to disparage miami fans by pointing out their location in relation to their favorite team............. in fact im pretty sure we are the only fanbase that gets that type of spotlight.....wonder why
