just depends on your motives for choosing your squad.. some are more disgust worthy than others..

some heat fans getting flack cause they chose heat at the beginning of the season to win it all when alot of people thought it was the obvious pick and was a no brainer.. but at the same time pick against the heat and talk all of their talents down.. and the heat end up becoming champions and they still say of course they did! they were the best the whole time! (end up sounding like fans themselves, just werent real with themselves)

but thats how sports convos been running since middle school, no integrity leads to a mistrust of any average sports fan.. dont want to recognize the heat as the best team in basketball but will still say anyone picking them is bandwagoning and of course they won it all

of course the bigger stretch of a statement (warriors winning the title next year) the bigger rewards and less questioning of if that person just rode the sure bet or if they really picked a favorite and rode through the uncertainty

Bandwagoning isnt necessarily predicated on where you are from, but moreso how long have you been a fan of that team and if you rep just as hard in down years

Yeah this is bullshyt. If you hopped on because a team was successful and popular or had a certain player you are a bandwagon fan, period. There is a reason that the Lakers have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more fans than the Clippers, even now, despite the fact that they have been in the same city for pretty much the same length of time. Switch the history and nikkas would be repping CWO. Heat didn't have as many fans 10 years ago and likely won't have as many after Bron is gone. Same shyt happened with Mike and the Bulls. The only sucessful team who you can really say doesn't have bandwagoners is the Spurs. Them nikkas could win 10 titles in a row while scoring 120 a night and still be dismissed as a boring team nobody wants to see. /

I am not mad at anybody for picking a team for whatever reason they wanna pick a team but it's laughable for nikkas to try to front about shyt. Most basketball fans are bandwagoners and that's just the way it is. Who really gives a fukk why a person roots for the team they root for anyway. It's not like nikkas stop watching and stop having rooting interests once their teams are eliminated. nikkas that are Knick, Laker, Bull, etc. fans will be fans of the Heat or the Spurs for the next two weeks.
