The black man is always targeted.
It’s because non-black women and white gay men base their confidence on stereotypes and racist sexualized caricatures of black women. It’s simply racist exploitation. It's like women wanna be like men, but don't notice that a lot of men just stumbling in the meaningful connections department. We ain't doing no better out here.
Shout out to @Speaking Womanese for this.
That’s why you have all of these overly sexualized black artists being peak examples of hoes. It’s incredibly popular because people inherently see black women as less human so they can be extraordinarily sexually stereotyped in some unique conception of femininity.
While the stereotypes became deeply embedded as a result of the crack era - black women never were out here proudly claiming to be hoes. It has been a steady phenomenon of hoe culture being built up as a result of corporations realizing that sex sells. But the supreme catalyst for that is the black woman.
I think black women themselves got wrapped up in it after the fact like pretty recently as a result of social media.
