Which part? If you’re referring to ultimatums not working, then it’s that men have more options and also that men are more aware of how women operate. I anticipate dating will be horrible for the generation of little girls coming up.

The media might be controlled by men but they damn sure aren't making moves for the average guy, aka all of us. I agree with some posters that it's rough on both sides, but dudes really have it rough right now when it comes to sexuality. I don't think there is some grand scheme for women being hoes as empowering move, instead I feel like society is trying to make up for how women were treated in the past. But for some reason it's at the cost of today's men.
Women love sex as much as guys do, and now are encouraged to be open to whatever they want. But the media and society portrays sex and men as bad... well unless you say you're gay for some reason then it's okay.
but if you're a straight male you're taught nowadays

Alot of young and/or immature women are very ignorant on how men think or truly believe that men do not experience emotions like they do. society and the media reinforce this as well. obviously mature women will be able to see the human in men but it's extremely common for women/girls to throw a man's emotions in his face or try to emasculate him for having feelings.
a lot of men are "stoic" as a defensive mechanism or because they got burned when they were younger. we males learn very early as boys that showing emotions (besides anger or lust) is generally frowned upon.

I think I had sex earlier than my friends who came from two parent households. I did so consciously bc, 1, I wanted to get married early and had to learn how to sort men/ figure out where I fit in, but 2, for power. Yep. When you're a young girl alone in these streets, you need strong allies. Done properly, sexual contact does indeed create allies.

I dont think its necessarily about a 2 parent household. I think if your father is weak, even if hes in the house you're hitting the streets.
