He most likely thinks this is a good way of elevating mid-card talent.

Boy he dead wrong. Your top guy shouldn't be downgraded to midcard. You need him in the main event to help put over Rollins and Reigns and shyt. Not beating up midcarders every week and holding a title he has no business holding in 2015

Cena winning the U.S. title and defending it against up and coming NXT stars is a good thing. Of course he's gonna win, he is a 15x World Champion. But he ain't burying those guys either... "burying" is pretty much what his program with Rusev was....

The person who will eventually defeat Cena for the U.S. title is going to get the rub of a lifetime.

What i'm worried about is WWE being idiots and treating it like shyt once Cena drops the title...which history tells us that this will happen.
