I don't think that Drake has "real star power". I don't think what drake says in his songs is better than what J.Cole says. Some of their songs talk about the same type of stuff (relationships). J.Cole music talks about many different subjects. Drake mostly talks about relationships. To me, Drake says the same thing in every song, but uses a different beat.
I think more people like Drake b/c he shares more of his personal business and drama (Rihanna). J.cole is more private. People are nosy these days and want to be in other peoples' business. Drake is more popular because he has more drama. People love drama.
