Why is currency not on the same level as wiz khalifa (in terms of weed rappers) at this point?

What I don't understand is why he has never had a radio hit? I'm not talking about selling out, I'm talking about essentially following in the footsteps of wiz. He already talks about drugs and bytches and cars and shyt.

why would he follow in the footsteps of a guy who was basically his protege?

and to answer your question; its simple:
currensy = largely an indie artist
wiz khalifa = industry plant

currensy is clearly the better & more respected rapper. thats all that really matters at the end of the day.

If you ask me, Flight School and Kush & Orange Juice are better projects than anything Spitta put out. I like Spitta occasionally but Wiz just does it better. Their song Car Service basically sums it up for me. I always turn that on and get hype to Wiz's part and Spitta's lyrics are cool but the way he delivering it is just boring. Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk 2 I fukk with, everything else I've played once and havent revisited

Andretti's catalog is infinitely better than Wiz's and he cooked Wiz the majority of How Fly.
