Doris isnt really underated... his core fans like it, outside of that it seems viewed as 'ehhhhh' by the majority of hip hop. That sounds about right rating to me. Beats arent great, arent horrible just sort of there. Flow is an absolutely snooze. Complete lack of any emotion. Complete lack of any mic presence. Decent lyrics. ehhhhhhhhhhh

Exactly... Sounds like one long track. Production is mad lazy no real banger or overly dope tracks. Just one long monotonous song it seems like. Dude is a decent emcee just ain't really doing nothing on his songs to stand out.

Earl's kinda gotten to the point where he's better on paper. You can't front on him, he's so dope lyrically. But the dude seriously lacks any kind of flow and the whole "no energy" thing really kills his songs. He sounds like he's bored himself, so it's hard to get me hype, if the artist doesn't really sound into it. On b*stard, he sounded alive, way fresher. He needs to work on that.

Because he's a member of Odd Future. OF is for cacs and kids who didn't grow up to 90s hiphop

Vince Staples bodied him on that Hive joint

And i fukks with Earl but his slurry MF DOOM flow just isnt as energetic as it was on the EARL tape, I mean Doris had some cool songs but its not an album I see myself listening to ever again
