why is everyone sleeping on Documentary 2?

damn. People are acting like Doc 2 is an unnecessary sequel to To Pimp A Butterfly and Compton.

Couldn't be more wrong. This is 12 years of focus brought into one album. In some ways this is better than both of those albums combined. People are sleeping on Game.

This is the best fukking mainstream album in close to a decade.

starts off with a DOPE intro

comes to its climax with highlight tracks 14 and especially DJ Premier/Dr. Dre produced track 15

put disc 2 in and Game starts on some conscious KRS-One type shyt



Nas comes in and it gets deeper....




first couple of bars of the next track "From Adam" song had me in tears




brings in muthafukkin DJ QUIK!!!!....insane production...!!!!





raps over one more insane beat



heartfelt raps about his sons, and is done.






Thats what I call a hip hop album.

Whole album is a masterpiece. Production sounds like a symphony. Game steps up his talent and doesn't betray the personality that got him to where he's at. Probably the only album he's made that wasn't intended for pop audiences...haven't enjoyed a mainstream album this much in years.

Not a credible artist. But he'll be a cat that'll be around just as a character in the game, but nobody cares about his so called artistry or music like that or
feel he's credible in any regard.

Nowadays, I just wait until the hype has calmed down and people have moved on to a new trend, before I listen to a heavily promoted album, and judge for it for myself....

Album is very good....2.5 especially.

It ain't the best mainstream rap album in a decade. If you've ever heard a Game album, you've heard this one. He stepped up the production on this album tho.

It was a lil overkill.... If he would have chosen the best 12-15 tracks it would have definitely been a classic. Plus I'm annoyed by having to switch from 2 - 2.5 to listen to certain songs.....

Game's career has been quite successful compared to most so I have no idea what you're rambling about..
