Out here in my damn drawls
what you confused about? i've never heard anyone disagree with that off the net

I've never heard anybody say anything like that off the net but if I did I'd make the same expression

a

You've never heard people say that? It's a big statement, but I'm not inclined to disagree after listening to Boosie's music; he ain't necessarily the most lyrically talented artist, but the fact that he's able to connect to so many people should tell you a lot about him. He's not just making club songs either, he's really writing some introspective shyt in his music.

:leostare: Nope, and I know and been around plenty of Boosie stans. So a dude doesn't make club songs, he's introspective, but is limited in the scope with what he writes about and overall lyrical ability.....but he's the South Pac tho? Cut it out :camby:

He ain't garbage but he is not on that level, no where close and that's strictly on a musical tip and nothing else, kill dat noise; He's not even one of the Goats down here yet

Max B got locked up before he could really have a chance of doing what he was gonna do...take that unrealized potential, whatever it may have ended up being, and end it prematurely via prison or a casket and you're gonna have his fans forever swearing he was on his way to becoming an icon...

Boosie's career was a little more established...he was a regional mainstay by the time he got locked up, but realistically that was his ceiling...his incarceration has added to his lore...and assuming he gets out fairly soon here, prolly a net positive for his career...but you're looking at a gucci/gotti level artist best case scenario...which depending on how big a fan of that scene you are, will/won't be a big deal

you're dwelling too much on technical abilities imo when it's really all about the reach he had through his music while he was still free. He wasn't just big in Louisiana, he was all over the south, and people in the bay can attest to his music also being everywhere around here too -- a lot of our street rappers out here show more love to Boosie over any bay area dude.

of course you can argue that other rappers might deserve the crown of "2Pac of the South," but I truly feel like Boosie got that title. His music still ringing true for a lot of people, and even if he was limited as far as his technical skills go, his music and message was never stifled as a result. He was going through a lot of shyt and we got real music out of it.

Boosie and Biggavell being locked up was a deathblow for rap.

There are mad nikkas in the south that hold Boosie in the same regard as 2pac. He has made some of the realest and heartfelt street music of all time and had an insane real life fanbase before he got knocked. If he got out today he could get 40 a show.

Max B is an internet legend, same lane as Big L and Stack Bundles :manny:

I always heard about me, finally listened to their shyt :snoop:

They both average mediocre rappers :why:

They (well boosie, idk bout max b) gonna get out of prison drop an album that flops then they gonna have French Montana levels of fame till they fade away
Lotta lames out there with no direction who use these type of nikkas as a template for their image. Probably fukked a mediocre bytch and ran with it.
