I dont think wanting to make a livable wage is being spoiled. my rent is $2495 a month, my car insurance is $140 a month, health insurance is $650 a month, childcare is $250 a week, i spend about $800 a month on food, gas is another $200ish a month just to get to and from, and then theres clothes, toys, cable, utilities, entertainment, hair/nail/eyebrow appointments, etc. How can I do that with $9/hr? I dont even need it to cover everything but a job like wont even really put a dent in my bills.

I do agree its time to stop smoking weed but its hard. and i have a medical marijuana card but they dont care about that. ugh.

see that's the problem right there. Where and in what are you living in that your rent is 2500 and health insurance is 650. You either living above your means or expect to live a high class lifestyle. You trying to live cheesecake factory dreams on burger king money.

I was trying to get a seasonal part time jobs so ive been going to all the little shops in the mall and filling out apps. Only problem is no one will hire me they all want you to have experience or a bachelor degree or they just want too much of me physically and emotionally. Or they want you to fill out those dumb ass online applications that take an hour to complete and ask you the same question over and over. Im not doin that shyt I havent had a regular job since I was in high school in 2008. Plus the jobs that will hire me are shytty ass $9.00/hr jobs that want you to do WAYYY too much work for too little amount of money. I feel like my past has spoiled me because I dont want to work for $70 dollars a day before taxes when I was making quadruple that in less than an hour. Im not cleaning up bathrooms or standing on my feet doing hard labor for that small amount of money. Plus im not taking no drug test and I dont want to stop smoking weed. I guess I can say I tried but at the end of the day those little "respectable" jobs just arent for me.

Cleaning bathrooms is more like 20+/hour
...and usually full time with benifets in LA... I guess it might be lower some places... but I think even entry level janitorial over here is closer to $15 than $9

Its also fairly easy work.

You should get a job, any job, and save up a few hundred or a few thousand dollars and start a business. Then you don't have to worry about that ever again.

thats not alot of money. I live in LA where the cost of living is very high a studio alone in a decent neighborhood is starting at $1000. So a 2 bed is obviously going to be a but more but i gladly pay it because its a nice clean and safe place to live. healthcare insurance for me and my son is very expensive and it includes dental, vision, etc with a low deductible. those are two things i cant compromise on.

They are only the 1% because they have money.
If no one has a job, no one has money, except the 1% therefore it becomes worthless again.

Thats a concept rarely considered. Unless a greater majority are involved in the money spending process, the money itself becomes worth less and less because the people excluded will barter using alternatives.

McDonalds could automate their whole process anytime they want.
They intentionally avoid doing so.
