it's bad out here.

the shyt that kills me is these stupid ass employers that expect people to have 5 or 6 years of experience BUT don't want to hire anybody so they can get the experience. how the fukk are they supposed to get the experience then? even worse, these idiots want someone that has the exact skills to the job that they're offering even if it's unique to the job. some employers last week tried to pull that bullshyt talking about i didn't have enough experience or my experience level was TOO low or some bullshyt excuse. the way one of them was acting even before the interview like she didn't even want me there or like "why are you here?" then had the audacity after telling me how i was so underqualified that they would "keep an eye out for me to other places that will be willing to hire someone who had a low level experience like i did".

then these fukks want to make editorals complaining about how millennials have no job experience, no ambitions to work, are lazy, and whatever the fukk YET the only jobs you're willing to offer them are bullshyt that don't even pay or they can't even live off of.

the experience is bs, at my workplace all you have to do is "know someone", ala my former managers daughter graduated university and got a job right away.

Another manager his son started working right after he graduated hs, for a job that you need a diploma or degree for

Unless you're insisting on living in Marina Del Rey or Santa Monica, you can get a place like you are describing for $1000 less than you are paying fairly easily and it would only be 1-2 miles away. I'd rethink your insurance decisions too. You're paying $8k a year before you even step into a doctors office. I doubt having a low deductible outweighs those high costs unless you have Munchausen syndrome. If you're wasting money like that, you're going to be on the hamster wheel even if you find a high paying job.
CAC ventured out of Laker related threads for an interesting post :ehh:

Everybody has to make a sacrifice. To get this awesome gig I have now, I have to get up at 5 in the morning, out the door by 5:30 because I don't start till 7:30. I'm here usually 40 minutes early but I simply don't trust Chicago morning traffic. What do you want out of life? From the description of the OP, she doesn't see the big picture. Like, I have my MBA but I never stopped learning, I've taught myself various programs like Excel and Access. Not on some simple spreadsheet stuff but I can make some powerful piff with them. I don't feel sorry for those that aren't willing to commit to excellence and leave the garbage behind, I feel sorry for the kids of those people because they are being taught that failure is indeed an option. This viewpoint that is being presented is pathetic.

Even if that was the truth, when you have one of the lowest IQs in this thread it really doesnt matter.

If you and that idiot you qouted knew what you were talking about then you'd understand that the job market / economy or people acting "high and mighty" have absolutely nothing to do with why she is in the situation that she is in, its her ignorant / entitled attitude.

And there are plenty of jobs out there but they are jobs that thots and bum ass nikkas choose not to do. You have to crawl before you walk, the positives of a lower level job ( work experience, skills, resume fillers, connections, references, job history, etc...) will all help lead you to moving up in the world if you put in the work, time, and patience that is necessary to do so. You dont deserve a decent job just because you decided you want one without having done anything to earn it.

Hypothetically...if she was performing any type of financial disclosure for financing (house...car...whatever) a bank would totally call :duck: or if she really is spending that she  because then the issue is a matter of her maintaining a lifestyle not getting by.

Truthfully speaking, in the line I'm in, I won't need it certs to see 6 figures. Not to mention but I teach college classes part time too. You just have to hustle for it, for what you want out of life. You make your own luck along the way. Looking for jobs is a job in itself, many times I went with a few hours of sleep a day to look for jobs. I'm on the perfect career path that I need to be on, based on education and experience

the experience is bs, at my workplace all you have to do is "know someone", ala my former managers daughter graduated university and got a job right away.

One of my directors told me that in nearly forty years of working in administration in healthcare, she's only had to interview for one job of many. Like we are told many times before, it's not what you know, it's who you know.
