I thought this was going to be a thread about why escorts don't like black men.

I've heard of this etiquette, but I don't follow it at all. Sounds goofy to me. I think the reasoning is "If you eat the whole plate, that means you'd only eat this food if you were famished". Felt like a reach to me when it was explained to me.

Who on earth is actually saying this shyt?:mjtf:

Lowkey sounds like some privilege babble :mjpls:

I’ve heard similar from certain cultures.
If you finish your plate, it says you weren’t given enough. And in other cultures not finishing your plate says that you didn’t enjoy the meal.
Both have applied to eating home cooked meals, never a restaurant though.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Is it wrong to finish your plate at a restaurant?

I’ve seen many people say it’s bad to not leave some food on the plate.

Somehow you’re supposed to drop $100 or more on a dinner and leave some on the table or it makes you look bad.

Discuss.

I've only heard this about buffets lol. As in, don't sit there for 5 hours trying to get your money's worth. I've NEVER heard of purposely leaving food on your plate at expensive restaurants. Especially when their portions are so small
