*Tip came with the content/lyrics
*Jeezy came with the sound
*Gucci combined the two later on
*I understand what OP is trying to say.
*Also 21 Savage is clearly very inspired by Tip.
*Everyone here is right and wrong. Gucci is overrated in terms of influence. His influence is the Zaytoven sound that Future ran with and the flow that Chief Keef n em ran up.

Except his original post said this
In terms making it a an actual sub genre and making a whole album out the shyt, thats all Tip. Jeezy put the sub genre on a greater scale (Tip couldn't all by himself) Where the fukk does Gucci come into play here? He wasnt a factor until 2009. What Gucci was doing in the early/mid 2000s had no affect on trap at all.
T.I. is not a trap rapper. He has some trap adjacent songs, but he has never put out a whole trap album I say this as damn near a T.I. stan since the I'm Serious days. Jeezy had more mainstream success at first yes, I'm not going to argue against that point, but saying someone isn't a factor is saying they weren't relevant at all and that simply isn't true. He had already put out I wanna say 4 albums, a multitude of mixtapes, was being played in clubs(Freaky Gurl and Pillz), the streets(Trap House, My Kitchen, I Move Chickens, 16 Fever, I'm A Dog, etc he has TOO many street anthems) and had charting hits before 2009. To say he was a non factor just because he didn't create the literal name trap music or have the same mainstream success is trying to rewrite history. OP is just loud and wrong as hell.
