Most of these clowns are just regular people seeking attention or trying to seem deeper than they are.

They want people to think they're mysterious, have a story to tell and have layers to themselves when in reality they're just boring regular people.

Not going outside is detrimental to one's health

So is being broke

So is comparing yourself to others

So is being a slave to group think

Add it up and you're in the matrix... drowning

You might not understand how much of an L you created for your situation, but you know whose always aware?

Your brain:wow:this isn't what it was preprogrammed for:shaq2:
Find god or some form of spirituality :lawd:

I keep seeing people on social media posting how lonely they are or how sad they are

yet they have a roof over their head, heat, food, clothes, a phone to type on.. etc

like I understand life can be be a little much sometimes but damn shyt is annoying

There's nothing cool about being depressed

:mjcry:

Some people are just attention whores

Being depressed is not cool in anyway. It's a living nightmare.

It eats you alive from the inside and only people who have gone through depression (especially severe depression) know what I'm talking about.

Everyone else is simply looking through their own emotional lens.

A lot of people are depressed and don't even realize it.

For the people going on social media talking about how they feel, they are most likely

1) Attention whores

or

2) Looking for someone to reach out to them or find people who can relate because
they feel like they have no one in their current life they can speak to or who can relate with them about this other than a professional.

People are also becoming more comfortable sharing their mental and physical state in general, especially on social media.

It's actually cool people are open about how they feel.

But I have a friend who uses his sadness on borderline attention whore levels.

I'm in a few group chats with him, and I have him on FB as well. there often be times where we all comforting and praising him in the groups chats and on FB.
But it be like :gucci:
Damn nikka bad shyt happen to all of us too, we don't televise it and if we do its just in our group chats.

One of my group chats got tired of it

He posts something on FB, " man i can't believe that happened to me 5 months ago!" shyt gets like 30 likes and like 50 comments.

We in the group chat talking about bytches and he sees no one talking about him.

breh posts the same thing he posted on his timeline in the group chat.

One of the brehs finally called him out and revealed what we were all thinking, boy it got heated.:pachaha:

Breh was basically like, "bro quit posting everything on social media you have us for all that shyt and quit being sad over every litte thing and man up!"

The nikka gonna screen shot the group convo and post it on FB and spinned the narrative on how this is why people stay silent making us all look bad:gucci:

:pachaha:We all friends again... but yeah.... i like that we are open but people just want the world to know everything

You got a point cause most people with clinical depression don't act this way. It's attention seeking at the expense of people going through hell.

so this makes you not depressed?
depression for the most part has nothing to do with material things or your lifestyle

That's like saying oh I have a physical disability but i have a roof over my head, heat, food , clothes etc.

Just because one illness you can see with the untrained eye and another you can't .......

Would you rather people not post and then when they hang themselves in a hotel room or something your like damn I never knew he/she was depressed

Cause none of that shyt can make you happy if you miserable inside. People we look at like if I had that I'd be good kill themselves all the time.

People are a lot softer today. My kids get upset about shyt I'd never gave a fukk about but I made sure they didn't go through certain shyt.

My generation is more desensitized cause all that emotional shyt was considered weak a lot.
