For me (never married) it’s been projecting the fact that they can change. I’ve had to break up with girls over stupid shyt that I learned to just screen for up front now to save heartache.
I won’t be:
*trying to get you into physical fitness/going to the gym
*trying to get you to dress like you did when we 1st met
*trying to get you to not dwell on shyt from work after work
These are small things that have been the death of multiple relationships. Sometimes women refuse to change until you walk.

The amount of times I have become jealous of myself, the way I was treated at the start to the way I gradually became treated eroded . .
I know it's natural for passion to fade a bit as it you get more used to / familiar with one another . . .

When a man picks a woman as his main he’s generally saying you’re doing things and meeting all the qualifications I want from a partner that I haven’t found in tooo many other women. Women love in a more selfish way. They pick men based on who was there at the right time and who placed her on that pedestal. It’s all about her.
So yes I agree men invest more than women in most every way but especially emotionally. Most women will always have more options than most men so men are generally more disposable to them.
