I tried to tell some of my friends about all the plans I have for myself in the near future and the first thing they say is "I don't see you doing something like that", or "Maybe you should look into something else". Like why is it so hard for them to just say they want me to be happy instead of trying to police my aspirations?

Man I dont even know.I dont usually talk to people about things like this, but this opened my eyes to what type of people they are
They might just be jealous of your goals and the potential that you may leave them behind. May not even be trying to hate on purpose.

Maybe they tired of hearing about your plans esp if you one of them always talking about plans nikkas that don't do shyt. Outside of that maybe you need to ask yourself why do you feel the need to tell people about your plans unless they are a part of,them? Some of this is on you too IMO.
