Theres a Somali region in Ethiopia (Ogaden).
By Ethiopians, you probably mean Amhara/Tigrinya and not Omotic people (look Sudanese and border Sudan) or Oromos/Afars (Cushytes closest to Somalis). Afro-Semitic people like Habesha are closely related to Somali but not identical. People here do not look Nigerian lol.

When ppl talk about ethiopians they manily mean tigray and ahmara folks… even oromo and somali. But there are other people too who dont have the same look and almost resemble bantu people

You can spot an Akan/Ashanti, but not necessarily a Ghanaian. Ghana also has alot of Fulanis, Fanti, and Ewes(many of which do not look stereotypical Ghana which is the Akan look)
Akan also heavily populates Cote D'Ivoire, you could mistake a CIV Akan for "Ghanaian".
Same way Senegambia has groups that could pass for Rwandese-Tutusi or Somali.

i can spot a Ga and Ewe too. Fante is Akan and doesnt look different from Ashantis as far as I know. I can spot a Ghanaian and not know whether or not theyre Fante vs Ashanti...but i can prolly tell when theyre Ga. Point blank, I can spot a Ghanaian from a mile away lol. I may not know the tribe they are but I know theyre Ghanian without a doubt. Similarly, I can spot an Ethiopian/Eritrean 9/10 times. I can also tell the diff between a Somali and Habesha person.
There will always be the ones that surprise you but some countries are said to have a look because there is an over representation by certain tribes. It applies to Ghana and Ethiopia without a doubt. It applies to Somalia too.
