look at the east
Milwaukee, Cleveland, charlotte, washington, orlando, philly, the hawks , even the knicks ownership & GM's are bad especially after letting pat riley leave to miami.
but the main thing is that the western conference is like the SEC in football.. we let players play there style and put them in a system where there talent shows there skill.

This yr rockets west 8th seed would probably take the nets east 4th seed 4-2
this list really puts it into perspective.. only ONCE since 99 has the west champ not been lakers spurs or mavericks

The west has alot of good regular season teams that are just playoff doormats. In the post Jordan era what is it, only 4 different teams have won the conference as opposed to 8 in the east. It all balances out in the end
