not sure where you got this idea but everybody in my school wanted to be in the' smart classes'. you got clowned on for being in the 'dumb classes'. that was the go to joke if you were in those classes.
nerdy and geeky refer to the appearance and thats where you get clowned. there were goofy lookin dudes in the dumb classes too.
there is no 'intelligent' appearance.
ya'll gotta step your brain activity up. i'm beginning to think ya'll don't get outside and/or were the quiet kid in school and had no friends.

I don’t think this is true. People (especially women) gravitate to me more once they realise how smart I am. I’ve been told on several occasions that talking to me is refreshing because “other guys are boring and don’t have anything to say.”

However, whilst I know I’m smarter than average, I think it’s because a lot of guys don’t want to talk themselves out of potential vagina so they play it safe and dumb themselves down to women

I remember this pyschology teacher he asked all the boys in the room who would you rather be "Will" or "Carlton" every one chose Will. There is different levels of intelligence though. Let's take Obama a social guy Ivy Leaguer I guess u can say he is cool politics aside. On other hand let's take Tiger Woods or Bryant Gumbel an Ivy Leaguer equally as smart but not considered cool in our community. See it's different levels in our community regarding intelligence.Its something we subconsciously decide on who is cool and who isn't. Sad but true

Usually smart kids parents sheltered them greatly. Its shocking to them to be around average people..

I don’t know I did pretty well in school ... I’m not average I don’t think ... but I’m far from a genius. What I noticed is that people who play into the smart stereotype and look like a Hollywood casted nerd usually have awful, awkward and offensive personalities.

I'll keep it a buck. What's with this "social capital" bullshyt that's going on in gen y and z? shyt is lame as hell. Theres literally people faking their whole entire lives, who they are, their family history and the whole nine for that shyt.

Social capital is the ability to relate to other people of different backgrounds and perspectives, the ability to see both sides and network successfully. It's like to be a manager, it's less about how good u are at your job or skillset, it's about how good you are with people; to do so is to know how to manage them and make people feel understood.

Geeky kids only see things through their lens and get frustrated when no one is excited about the things they get excited about.
Nerdy kids might have a better shot but that's another story


The thing I dont get is if intelligence is cool as folks are saying it is how come society doesnt see it that way? All the folks who are intelligent that are looked up to either contributed something to the lives of people so significantly that it HAS to be acknowledged or they have another thing going for them to make them appealing to everybody such as being attractive to the status quo running society. Its never been only because of someone's intelligence.

Check out the story of Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. One guy was way smarter, the other got all the popularity.
When u can understand why guys like Elon Musk or Rob Stark in Iron Man are so popular, then u can see why it's not about just being smart to win people over


And why does intelligence have to be built up into this standard where certain concepts that are actually simple if explained as such have be made super complex to the point where learning becomes a psychological issue because of the anxiety from the pressure. It's like they make people feel stupid for not getting something they intentionally make difficult to decrease the amount of people knowing the info if it makes sense.

Only smart asses and some dumb people try to make things seem more complex. Real smart people make the most complex things seem so simple due to their real fundamental understanding of the concepts

You know how they demonize the occult, aliens, unconventional thought, anti group think and shyt. This society encourages stupidity.

Some people are great in finance but don't know anything about marketing or design

My fave smart people are the ones that low-key know everything, they're few and rare, very entertaining

I always try my best to expand my relevant knowledge atleast the minor entry stuff because people start to wonder how do u know so much?

Simple, go out of your comfort zone, meet and talk with people you're not supposed to, read and listen to different people

One thing I’ve learned in life is any woman that says they are attracted to intelligence is 9/10. It’s the cherry on top of a sundae, the garnish on a steak.

Physical attractiveness and being fun to be around will get you a lot farther in life than just being intelligent. And I wish I knew that earlier but I get to eat off it now. Folks that have known me since childhood know I’m the same dude I’ve always been. Just in better packaging now
