You can EASILY point out the stans in this thread. If you honestly believe Ye's latest work has been his best you have serious problems. Even his album features have been worse than ever, dude was fukking with Common, Mos, Talib, John Legend, etc, to Big sean, Nicki Minaj and Kid cudi :scusthov:

Makes me think, have you guys actually LISTENED to College dropout or Late Registration?? Dude was going crazy on graduation with all the Japanese influence, but production wise that album soars over his recent ones.

:heh: @ you fools running around thinking MBDTF was one of his best works cause a bunch of MAGAZINES said so.

Your really trying to compare these two different times of his career?? :what:
Lets see....

Kanye West - Heard 'Em Say ft. Adam Levine - YouTube

Maroon 5 was sort of popular at this time, so i guess this was a mainstream move. But can you seriously tell me Kanye didn't make an AMAZING song?? This song alone craps on MBDTF imo. Lets look at his mainstream move for his latest crap...

Monster - Kanye West - YouTube

He OBVIOUSLY just through Ross in this song just for the views. I can't help but think besides the exposure, was Ross cool with this?? :heh:

Listen to Kanyes verse. There's points where he sounds like hes actually mumbling. Sounds like nothing but pure :trash:

I remember a lot of people saying Jay spit a :flabbynsick: verse, but I bet if he was still hungry he would of did it wayyy better. Still weak tho.

Nicki going last was nothing shocking to me BEFORE I heard it. She was blowing up and I knew everyone would immediately say she took the song. As if this wasn't PLANNED by them :russ:

I find her vocal twitches annoying, one minute she sounds like an actual barbie, the next she sounds like the fukking cookie monster.

He even put her on his INTRO.

Runaway?? :why:

Stop the comparisons breh. Nobody wants Kanye to do another CD or LR. I don't have a problem with him reinventing himself. I totally bump and cosign Graduation even though a lot of people don't. But imo MBDTF was weak as hell, him working with all these great producers don't mean shyt if hes going make a weak album. I read recently where Premier said he did a couple of tracks for MBDTF but they got shelved. I bet they were straight hip hop piff, but not experimental enough for Ye and his delusional stans :yeshrug:

I already know the stans are going to attack me cause they all seem to love Monster, but it ain't rocking for me man. I rather a bunch of LR from Ye then another MBDTF.

GIVE THIS MAN A MEDAL

The heavy soul samples is the correlation between College Dropout & Late Registration. He actually produced those albums and relied heavy on features to enhance his production.

The change began with Graduation but even that joint is dope. Kanye does have an original sound. You hear it in his older albums. I don't know what the fukk I hear now

Late Registration was co-produced by John Brion..

Dude is one of the goats at scoring movies. You can really hear his influence on Late.

Ye is always changing his sound. :yeshrug:

fukk this. Ya'll arguing that Kanyes new stuff is better than his old stuff are insane. I bump Graduation, Late Reg and College Dropout more than anything he's released, ever. Any real Kanye fan would agree with me.

You honestly believe Kanye would be dating Kim if his momma was still alive!? The guy's lost his mind. He's gonna release a joint with Justin Bieber and you a$$holes are gonna bump that shyt and tell me it eclipses anything on College dropout. Where the fukk are you fakkits gonna draw the line? The guy's making music with Big Sean!?!?! :what: :scusthov:

I don't understand why you nikkas have to blow every god damn thing out of proportion. You can't never say, "well I don't like his new direction and his new music" and leave it at that there always has to be some conspiracy going on, he has to have lost his mind, there has to be something, other than the fact that you simply don't like the music he makes anymore going on. Actually, the worst part about it is how people are bringing up everything BUT the music for why they no longer like him. If you don't like the music, okay, but why are people acting like it's the end of the world and their hero died? A lot of yall might not like his music anymore, but a lot of people do, some of which just got on the bandwagon, some of which were there from the start. I don't know if yall even realize this, but MBDTF is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past 10 years in a lot of circles. Late Registration, College Dropout are all critically acclaimed. Just like with anything else some people like it and some people don't. Why are yall blowing this shyt out of proportion?

Lets see...

I'm not comparing the two different times in his career... that's the problem. Y'ALL are doin' that. The way y'all talkin', because he did something 9 years ago, he should still be doin' the same exact shyt today. I'm not comparing those times at all, because the nikka's been changing musically every other year. Unlike them nikkas who make the same album 5 times over, he's done different shyt every time. You talkin' about you would rather hear another LR than another MDBTF... but the thing is, he's probably not gonna make another one of either. If you know his music like you say you do, you shoulda prob. figured out by now that he never stays on one lane for too long.

Like I said, if "fans" get mad at an artist for changing musically, it's their fault. That artist never told y'all he/she was gonna always do that style from their first album, or just work with who they worked with in the beginning. Y'all decided that on your own, and got disappointed when it didn't happen.

And yet Nas has weathered the storm and is about to drop his TENTH album with all of hip hop waiting with bated breath...

Nas went through a lot of adversity, but his own personal vision of what he wanted to be at the time has helped shape him into the artist he obviously wants to be NOW. People who criticized him back then are going back praising his work , which leads to an increased appreciation for him as an artist NOW and the high level to which he's sustained. Nas took the brunt of that criticism so that artists like Kanye West can switch up thier style and not be pigeonholed into a particular box, they can create freely.
