And lest it get overlooked the Wahhabi are sponsoring what at this very moment?..who is funding Boko haram,IS.Al shebab?...and lets not get into all the other sordid groups Uncle Sam has funded over the years as well..Criminals,Fascists,Neo nazis, druglords,

we can dive into details of those since you suffer from memory loss..from the Contras,Khmer rouge and so on.

There's nothing funny about rape.
:francis: Youre the one making the unfounded allegations...If he didnt rape you then how do you know??

By all accounts Ghadaffi was very progressive about womens rights..they had property rights, access to any job,any education equal rights in divorce courts,he banned child marriages and virtually ended polygamy...he instituted legal consent for women to get into marriage and out of it,freedom of association, freedom of movement.

Any man with an all female bodyguard is not someone who doesnt value women

The war against Chad?

*crickets*

Oh you mean the Anglo french meddling and instigating in post colonial Africa

Libyan involvement with Chad can be said to have started in 1968, during the Chadian Civil War, when the insurgent Muslim National Liberation Front of Chad (FROLINAT) extended its guerrilla war against the Christian President François Tombalbaye to the northerly Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti Prefecture (BET).[8] Libya's king Idris I felt compelled to support the FROLINAT because of long-standing strong links between the two sides of the Chadian-Libyan border. To preserve relations with Chad's former colonial master and current protector, France, Idris limited himself to granting the rebels sanctuary in Libyan territory and to providing only non-lethal supplies.[4]

All this changed with the Libyan coup d'état of 1 September 1969 that deposed Idris and brought Muammar Gaddafi to power. Gaddafi claimed the Aouzou Strip in northern Chad, referring to an unratified treaty signed in 1935 by Italy and France (then the colonial powers of Libya and Chad, respectively).[4] Such claims had been previously made when in 1954 Idris had tried to occupy Aouzou, but his troops were repelled by the French Colonial Forces.[9]

I got news for you buddy...EVERY country in Africa faced that in the 60s and 70s from Nigeria,Cameroon,S Africa,Kenya,Ethipia,Tanzania,Congo,Angola...there is no African country that didnt have those problems over disputed colonial territory....in that regard Ghadaffi was not any different from any other African leader.
In fact were it not for the french meddling that conflict would have ended alot sooner.
