Why is Michelle Beadle allowed to talk about Kawhi with such hatred ? :dahell:

What you’re saying is you won’t consider the evidence/reporting.

Well I guess I know how to classify you now.
:ehh:

The more honorable thing you could have did was say your opinion, post the video for source, then throw the ball in my court. Leaving an 1 hr video for me to watch with no context?

I guess I know how to classify you now :francis:

I have like 200 posts in the Kawhi trade thread explaining it.

The podcast is easier.

I wouldn't think such that. Pop was not using the media to pressure him. Or at least I don't think.

Allegedly, pop was mentioning how we should "ask kawhi and his group that question" every day because he himself had no idea what was going on. He was legitimately asking us to ask him that, not trying to poke fun. He got frustrated with hiding the real story and pretty much stopped trying to defend Kawhi's camp. It's as if he was done trying to play games.

He also said he had no contact with Kawhi when he did have contact with Kawhi. He was using the media to put pressure on him to play breh. He thought he could treat Kawhi how he did Duncan, Parker and Ginobli and Kawhi showed him that, no, Im not a mindless robot who will put the team before my own interest. Now he's trying to backtrack and its too late...

People acting in their own best interest isn't always honorable. It can be selfish.

In this business no. Teams are supposed to work in their best interest and players are to work in their best interest. IT lost out on tens of millions because of a misdiagnosed injury. Cousins just lost out on 200 mill guaranteed because of an injury. To you its entertainment, to them its their livelihood and way to building generational wealth

Im not here to force you to say your stance but Im also not here to watch hour long videos of cacs standing up for Pop and not for the player who is looking out for his future

"I signed the contract, and if players that have a stronger leverage point than me are able to get better contracts that's great. Everybody knows I should be getting paid more but I signed a contract and I gotta live by that and I'm not going to complain and gripe about something I signed my name to"

That changes when you're hurt breh :yeshrug:

Kawhi himself that he contacted with Pop too and look where we are now lol

At the end of the day they could hide him all they want but nothing stopping him from making phone calls and text messages

Kawhi and Pop, i'm sure are cool with eachother but if you can't man up and own your own decisions without your camp doing it for you(like leaking a report saying you want out) then it's only a matter of time before the game stops playing lol

Kawhi said that after Pop said he hadnt talked to Kawhi or his people...

Yea bruh I dont get it. I feel that Kawhi owes himself before he owes his team anything. He has a camp that is doing its job in looking out for Kawhi's best interest. fukk the team as far as Im concerned and just as the owner of the Spurs doesnt talk much and has Pop speak for his best interest, players have the same...

The Lakers is my team and in Kobe's last two years he taxed them for 25 million a year. Would I have rather him took a pay cut so we could maybe get some other players? Yep. But at the same time, I understood how he should be trying to get as much as he could for his family...

You gotta look out for yourself yeah but you cant (allegedly) hide from the team you are contractually obligated to play for :russ:

You cant lose contact with the team you are contractually obligated to play for either :russ:

Based on what we know, the Spurs let him rehab and do damn near everything he asked for. He's the one who went silent on them. If he just said, "I want to go to LA" publicly, I don't think this would be as bad as it is. But, the problem is dude refuses to speak on anything.

You can't blame the team for being angry that your star player more-or-less refuses to play for you, without no real reason. If he's mad at Parker (who isn't even there anymore) and anyone else's comments than that's on him He didn't tell them anything and they have a legit reason to be mad at that.

Notice how you had to put “allegedly” breh? :sas1:

According to Pop they lost contact but according to Kawhi they didn’t and Pop never came back and denied it afterwards. It’s all about who you believe

Everything innocent until proven guilty :mjlit::yeshrug:

Kawhi my nikka tho but the way this has all panned out isnt looking good for him. Spurs have benefit of the doubt since they are generally renowned as a "do no wrong" kind of operation.
