When dudes say Big was lazy it lets me know they have no idea what he did. In 4 1/2 years:
Late 92-Early 97
30 Collaborations (2 Pac, Michael Jackson, Shaq, Total, 112, etc)
Ready To Die (Writer, Producer)
Conspiracy (Executive Producer, Producer, Writer, 4 Features)
Hard Core (Excutive Producer, Producer, Writer, 4 Features)
Life After Death/Double LP (Producer, Writer)
No Way Out (Executive Producer, Writer, 4 Features)
Biggie left over 7 albums worth of material when you include collaborations, freestyles and remixes. I never understand why people act like "Ready To Die" and "Life After Death" are the only thing Big made in his career and even then that's 3 LP's worth of material in 3 years. That's an album a year but he's lazy?, lol.
Pretty much,...
Nwo is an abomination.
Harlem world is a bonafide abomination.
Both those albums single-handidly ruined the culture from being present in the business of rap.
So, yeah,....they are trash.
People like lad.
yet, if you bought the triple vinyl of lad,...
It really is not that great of a spin at all, real talk.
I have said that since it dropped, too.
only reason I liked big in the lad era was his evolution delivery and vocal aptitude.
Especially considering how much garbage jm, was.
lad is just the tolerable jiggy record that is given a pass because of the sentimentalism involved about big.
Yet, real talk aeom amd lad were never really worth the thirty bills it cost for it in any format.
Sentimentalism is why those records are even written about positively.
