1. No one pays for whole albums anymore
2. Producers need to make money
3. Combining rap and R&B into an indistinct miasma of party songs that promote bullshyttery is the only thing that people will spend money on.

Solution: Ignore the top 20 songs on iTunes, stop buying individual singles from shytty artists, and start buying whole albums from good artists.

Yep there's a reason why macklemore sells, and it isn't because of his lyrics...
So pretty much what sells is what white and teen consumers like..
That's gonna phase out good talent, if you think it's hard to find good music now just wait a couple more years.

honestly I dont even really to music any more like I used too.

EVen when I drive i'd have the radio on mute or tune into NPR.

It's still weird to me that August Alsina was in the latest XXL Freshman class ... I was thinking "isn't he a singer?" :dwillhuh:
