NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
I wasn’t going address you. If you thinking sampling is just adding drums to a sample and then boom that’s it !!! Then clearly u don’t kno shyt about hip hop and straight up u shouldn’t be playing it . Also hip hop is not the only type of music that samples… rock, r&b, etc all do it

you a clown straight up and don’t kno shyt about music. Stop fukking posting

I usually don’t get tight about shyt on this site man but y’all non music ass nikkaz be clowns

also cats getting tight at dre for looping shyt in the 90s

a lot of that shyt was played over and looping a record back then was hard as fukk compared to now and also it takes a lot to dig and find that right loop to sample

You make beats bro ?
Never seen u get outta character but this site will do it to u. It’s annoying as fukk how ignorant and how alotta posters look down on hip hop on this hip hop site is insane to me.

I agree. You have a beat like Jay Z's "aint no nikka' that sounds like just a loop, but it isn't. The sample is impossible to straight loop due to the timing of the musicians so Jaz explained how he chopped it up into 7 pieces and played it out on the MPC

Its a skill. I've made beats with same sample other greats have used and it comes out as thrash lol...then am like how did 9th squeeze this outta this sample:mjlol::francis:

Besides hip hop aint the only genre that samples old stuff:stopitslime:

Digging in the crates or risking your cable subscription to dig in the (limewire:mjcry:)crates and finding/hearing samples expanded your mind..plenty of obscure artists I've been put on and samples I've heard that made me go:whoo:

Also, with limited sample time, you was forced to get creative... it is definitely a science within itself

The greatest sample find was the in the club sample...:wow:

Stan is a top 10 hip hop song and one of the reasons is the sample. I don’t mind most sampling. Songs like this however is trash
