Why is Stern always talking contracting NBA teams when he should contract the WNBA?

So we are 17 years into this failure of a league. and the most prolific and winningest team, the comets folded years ago. that'd be the equivalent of the laker or celtics folding in the NBA aftering winning a gang of ships. and speaking of WNBA, they are subsidized by the same league and owners in the NBA who were crying about NOT turning enough profit back in 2011. If ya'll not making a profit, why not cut out the least profitable league going? I dont think in all this time, they have yet to turn a profit. they get no ratings, and cannot fill stadiums. not even trying to be sexist, but lets be reality here.

He should merge them.

Need some of them enforcers in the NBA...the ones who don't DARE shoot, but get hella offensive rebounds. Them workhorses that wear their 3x thick headband over their hair they brushed with a wagon wheel. Thorough broads who only menstruate for 45 minutes. Yeah.

the wnba in the usa is a failure but if stern moved the WNBA and merged with with women's european leagues and created a global league overseas i can see it working better.

that makes more sense since they like women's bball over there. but even in the summer when it's a non-olympic year, no one over here is trying to watch that shyt for the most part.

but real talk, why subsidize a league that hasn't been able to sustain itself in going on 20 years? especially in these times of economic uncertainty in the world for the most part.

is it Stern's massive ego that won't allow him to admit this colossal failure?

The Bucks and Bobcats need to go. I also think the Clippers should go. Throw in the Kings too.

Clippers sell out games, but they'll never be sh1t in LA.

I don't care. but I answered that question in the original post. it's just another option for the NBA to cut expenditures that should be considered before taking away actual NBA teams

the two are unrelated. contracting a few WNBA Teams or the league will not help save the Bobcats or the Hornets.

There are NBA teams that are bigger liabilities than any one WNBA team. WNBA squads aren't burning through 7-8 figure losses the same way some NBA teams have. Put it like this: who do you think makes Glen Taylor more money: the Lynx or the Wolves?

And no, not every owner subsidizes or co-owns a sister squad.
