Op I don't think many people even grasp can't even grasp the fact that until about 50 years ago whites taught in schools that we are literally animals- monkeys to be exact. They believed and backed it up with pseudoscience. There are still echoes of that in society. Fighting for them to consider you as a man and a human is going to take more time. But just take a second to think about this. I remember seeing a picture of the Ape family tree that used to be in textbooks and guess who sat on the top limb with gorillas and orangutans underneath him? A black man in a loin cloth. This is what we are up against, black men and women alike. We literally have to fight for our humanity. Part of me thinks people will never want to view you as a sexual equal or a normal man. Some will, others will fight for their right to think of you as an animal. I don't think any of us should accept it because for any one of us to be considered less than human is a slippery slope to god knows what. I think we are headed towards change but there's no way we'd be able to change all of society. They'll believe what they want to believe.. In the mean time, thinking about this too much will do your head in.

They take pride in it because it's considered "harder" for a black dude to get a non-black girl than a dude of their race. The opposite is true for white guys. They get clowned for only being able to get minority women because it means they're too "beta" for white women.

I'm talking about middle class suburban white girls who have never seen or interacted with a black person before.

I see the way they clutch their purses,walk faster and act friendly.

Nah breh, YOU don't live around white women. That is THE easiest p*ssy in the world. By the way, I like how you say "us", and then say "why you guys take pride". I moved from the city for high school in the north suburbs of the Chi, and went to U of I, from age 14-22 I was around 85% white folk b, anybody from the Chi can attest to those areas being like 80% white middle class or higher. Yes, in high school, I deal with a lot of racism (late 90s), why lie. But ironically a lot of the same chicks from high school went to my college,and they were all down for the D I can't tell you how many times I was like "Didn't you call me monkey and sh*t in school?" and the becky be like "That's high school, I was stupid..." I had two that dumped their boyfriends for me And that was then, now being with a white girl is so normal people don't even notice anymore. I went to all white sorority parties all the time, and U of I had one of the biggest frat systems in the country at that time (85 I think). That and alongside with having visited over 26 countries, I am confident I'm as qualified as anyone to talk about the black experience with women of all races. I can tell firsthand ironically, the place I experienced the most stigma was DR, way more so than Japan or Germany, ironically, it's easier to pull light skinned DR chicks than dark skin ones, there's so much self hatred on that island it's ridiculous. I remember this one chick telling me how blacks couldn't go to certain restaurants like it was the 1940s. I took her to Vesuvio's just to show her how ignorant she was In the countries you'd think there'd be a lot of racism, e.g. Japan, Germany, Chile, etc., it's been all love.
