They play indoors and majority of the games were played at night. Not saying that u are wrong "04' Pistons played like what their city is remembered of" but its more about who each team competing against

It's not about playing in the sun, but LIVING in it. Not having to deal with rain, or snow, or cold. Not having to fly in out of storms. Being able to go to the beach during the winter months, seeing women wearing less clothing for longer periods of time because it's warmer. If anything, what u said can be true because of players and coaches wanting to play for a team in a city with decent weather. Dwight refused to play for the Bulls because of the weather so u pretty much crossing out like 10 other Eastern teams that wanted him on their rosters.

When people talked about stacked, they mean that the entire 1-8 seed is pretty damn solid and anyone of those teams is a bad game away from losing the series.

In the East, you had an injured Heat make the finals for TWO straight years and they were the heavy favorites most of the other years.

The elite of the East (Top 2 teams) are typically good enough to hang with the West. It's not always like that with the West. All those teams are typically pretty damn good and not bringing your

A game can get you knocked out. OKC getting a 4 game back door win against the Spurs, Grizzlies beating the Spurs, Portland and the Lilliard miracle shot over houston, OKC and Clippers coming down to the wire, etc.
