Its just the mentality in society now..I know a lotta people are gonna think that is bullshyt but its true. People always wanna be the victim of some greater conspiracy if things dont go there way. Nobody can just take an L and keep it moving anymore. There used to be a certain amount of pride or being a man when you could admit another guy outplayed you. Now its "I got cheated, It cant be something that i did wrong (play poorly or flat out get beaten)." Its the "everybodys a winner (whiner)" generation

Not really caught up in conspiracy theories but I do think more so than any other sport NBA refs affect the game too greatly and do hedge the games in a certain direction. With that being said, both teams always have opportunities to win. I think the mentally strong teams push past it while others crumble. I say this watching my mentally frail Knicks team crumble on a consistent basis to officiating.

Because King David is using reverse psychology, he's purposely rigging it so that both the Pacers and Spurs end up in Finals in his final season as commish so it's remembered that above all he promoted fair play in the league and ratings take a backseat to integrity.

As much bball as I've watched, I believe there's something to it. You can tell a random regular season game when it's called pretty evenly vs a playoff game where many of the calls are questionable.
