I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS.. FOOTBALL IS COOL N ALL, BUT THE NBA IS SO MUCH MORE ENTERTAINING TO WATCH IN PRETTY MUCH EVERY CAPACITY. ITS ALSO EASIER TO PICK UP, CONSTANT BACK N FORTH ACTION, AND MORE ACCESSIBLE TO ANYONE WHO WANTS TO PLAY. NOT TO MENTION, ITS A GLOBAL SPORT, AND AMERICA IS COMPRISED OF MORE IMMIGRANTS THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY. AS FAR AS MARKETABILITY, NBA PLAYERS ARE FAR EASIER TO SELL AS INDIVIDUALS, AND DEFINITELY MORE RECOGNIZABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. WHAT IS IT ABOUT FOOTBALL THAT MAKES IT SO MUCH MORE POPULAR THAN BASKETBALL? IT MAKES NO LOGICAL SENSE.

Because people appreciate the teamwork aspect of football.
It takes blocking, running, catching and passing to score points.

Not an arrogant jagaloon dribbling up the court and shooting the ball while trashing his teammates.

NBA has had something stupid like only 8 or 9 teams win titles in the last like 30 years.

In the NFL, the goddamn Saints won a Super Bowl in 2010. The Arizona Cardinals were 2 minutes away from winning.

Since like 1999, the Mavs, Spurs, or Lakers have represented the West in the NBA Finals every time except for 3 years. OKC in 2012 and GSW in 2015 and 2016.

NBA has no parity. It's a mundane regular season buildup where the Hawks are always the Hawks and the Grizzlies are always the Grizzlies.

Even in MLB and NHL the lower seeds and small-market non-superstar teams win titles.

There's only four teams in the NFL that have not been in the Superbowl yet :ehh:
